Allen Kee’s 22 year career as an editorial, environmental portraiture and advertising photographer has taken him around the world on assignments documenting multiple summer and winter Olympic Games for Eastman Kodak and People magazine. In the summer of 2010, Kee spent three weeks in South Africa capturing the stories of the FIFA World Cup for ESPN’s 2014 Brazilian World Cup campaign. His editorial photography reached its potential with a decade of assignments for ESPN The Magazine. During his career, Kee has photographed sports icons David Beckham, Michael Jordan, Mike Tyson, Dale Earnhardt and Pelé. Kee's work has appeared in major editorial and international distribution for the National Football League, Major League Baseball, Major League Soccer and NASCAR. In 2003, building on his relationships in the sports world, Kee partnered with WireImage to form its highly successful editorial and commercial sports division. In 2007, after the sale of WireImage to Getty Images, Kee sold his Miami studio and took two years off to refocus his career and celebrate the birth of his beautiful daughter Taylor Grace Kee. A native of North Carolina, Allen now splits his time between Connecticut and Miami.
